The training programme is designed to be interdisciplinary and is open to participants from various professional backgrounds. However, successful completion of vocational training and some initial work experience related to the subject matter of the training are recommended.

This training is specifically aimed at specialists and managers from:

• the automotive and supplier industries
• software development and systems engineering
• the IT and cybersecurity sectors
• quality management, compliance, research & development
• and similar fields

It provides in-depth technical insight into the fundamentals of cybersecurity, protection at the architectural level, the security of embedded systems, and the framework for regulatory compliance. With a strong focus on international standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156, participants will acquire the skills they need to develop secure systems and defend against threats throughout the automotive ecosystem.

Through interactive, hands-on exercises and real-world case studies, participants will gain technical expertise in areas such as cryptographic implementation, secure communication protocols, security testing, and incident response—all within the context of modern automotive platforms.

The course is conducted by experts from Institute for Security and Safety GmbH and SAPAR GmbH. It consists of a total of 40 instructional hours spread over 5 days.
